What would you rather have:

Option 1: 2005 Sagaris and a 355 Spider 99

OR

Option2: 360 Spider 2002

I already own the Sagaris and have always wanted the 355 and then the 360 more so once it was released. The problem is that both options are costing me 80K and whilst the 360 is the one i want i feel like I'm getting so much more value from the first option.
Sagaris has blown about 20K in just over a year of ownership so worth about 35K. The 99 355 Spider is 50K so about 85K for the two. The 360 Spider is 80Kish.

On one hand you've got great value for money, options for either car to use, great looking garage! On the other you've got the car you've always wanted but it doesnt seem financially sensible, obviously you've only got one car and maybe a few quid in depreciation still to go.

any thoughts on what you guys would do?

Cheers,

Personally, I would say the 360 is a far better engineered and a more complete car than the 355! If you've already done the dough on the Sag and you like the car, why not keep that and instead of spending £80k on a 360 Spyder, spend £65k ??

Cant seem to find any 360 Spiders in the right nick for 65K? Only place I'm looking is here and the Autotrader though. Anyone reccommend anywhere else?

Cheers!

Would you consider a left drive car?

Seems like you know what you want, I'd spend a couple of hours on the phone, ring the non franchised dealers too... Foskers, Joe Macari, Forza 288 etc. If they don't have any physical cars that suit, they may have vehicles available or customers who are ready to deal!!

Good luck pal

Take a look at LHD. I don't think it makes that much difference. If you are right handed it may be that prefer it. I bought a LHD because the car spent most of its time touring on the continent. Whichever you buy make sure at some stage you take it to Italy as it will be the nearest you come to being a film star! (I prefer the 355 to drive)
