Why no V5?

I always wondered when I saw exoctics like this up for same, did not the owners own insurance sort the repairs out, or could they only afford TPFT after buying it?

I'd say you can't tell from the pics.

If it is just body damage (just?) then you could get away with as little as 25k? (I bet more though...)

If you have more serious damage underneath, I reckon it could be a lot more (50K?), to the point that it isn't worth it, as without any doubt, the value will drop significantly as a result.

I guess the danger is that someone repairs it, and then manages to sell it without mention of the damage.....

Would have thought TPFT is not allowed on buying this type of car.

why not?

alternatively I guess the car might have been damaged when uninsured on a racetrack

The insurance company may have decided it was not a viable repair so paid out to the owner.
This still does not explain the missing V5.

Because i think you will find that many insurance companies if not all insist on having full comp on cars over a certain value.

I may be wrong but this was my belief
