After owning various fcars the car i now really want is a Diablo particulaly as i never liked red and got fed up buying TDF blue.

The problem is after taking one for a spin i was surprised at what a tight fit it is getting into one and how close together the pedals are.

I can always go on a diet but can't reduce the size of my feet.
Question is does anyone on here that owns one have large feet ie size 11 ? If so do you have a problem ?

I would like a late '99 VT-apart from engine size how different is it from
the 6.0 lt. ?

Also were all late VT's in leather or was alcantara standard ?

Have a word wih Mike Pullen at Carrera Sport 014444 455100 as he does have a few contacts and possibly some suitable cars for sale.

I have size 12 and never had a problem with my friends VT and done a lot of road miles as well as track time in the car.

6.0 VT here, size 10's - no problem. Leather interior, some are alcantara (tony_666) - seen more alcantara on the 99SV's tho

99SV's are rwd with only 20bhp less, have the curved later dash but lack the carbon fibre. Only 9 RHD cars iirc

Feel free to come over and see mine at the Tunbridge Wells PH meet .. They'll probably be a few Diablo's

My brother and I had no problems - size 10/11 shoes. I would recommend getting some good driving shoes though as they give more room around the pedals.

I agree about the tight fit point - I have more headroom in the Countach which is a much smaller car.

I would recommend stretching to a 6.0 if you can. They moved the game on significantly from the VT and the interior is far superior

size ten never been a problem, most diablo owners would probably regard the 6.0 as the nicest one to own imho.

Again size 11 (must be a Lambo thing, you know what they say about guys with big feet they wear big shoes)
The 99SV is not a problem and I usually wear trainers. The 93 Diablo was much tighter and although trainer's could be worn and I have narrow feet in truth racing boots were the only comfortable option. My mate Gary who also drives these cars again is size 11 and wide feet, tends to drive only with race style shoes.

So u finally taking the plunge Chris?, thought u didnt like the build quality of the Diablo?

You will find that a pair of Ferrari driving shoes will make a difference in the pedal area.

Hi Amo,i have had a good look around and noticed a huge improvement in the later models particulaly with the interiors.I would love a 6.lt but colour choice is limited due to so few being imported.I am not so keen on the SV so a late VT is the next best option.
I might even consider buying LHD if i can get the right car.

I thought that 99VT's were even rarer than 99SV's? Could be a very long search. I like the SV because of my preference for rear wheel drive but why would anyone turn down a 6.0 for a hens teeth search for a 99VT?

yes this was the problem I had , my car search was nearly 2 years in the making ..... LHD cars are about the same money as rhd so why bother ? Only 16 6.0's , of which 5 or 6 have history - then you're down to what colour you want, for me it HAD to be Orange - so 3 , Tony didn't want to sell his - Jan bought the other and then I got lucky

Is there a website which lists all 16 6.0 Vt's? Or a scale lets say:

Perfect condition -

Very Good -

Good -

Bad (i.e crash repaired etc)

I'm trying to keep an eye on the cars for sale as best i could but i'm not sure of the uk history as is and it's harder too when i'm in Ireland

If you want a car thats hard to find a great contact is Paul at Flag in the sand, he got my mate the new gt3 at list with a short wait time and it was to his spec. He is a great one call he is trying to find me a 07 Range sport Diesel, his mobile number is 07775771133. Mention Simon Jay (ME) dunno if he will speed up the process but i use him for tickets aswell.
