Just out of interest being a regular viewer of this forum it appears that most of the UK Diablo's are known to the users on this forum or at least to the former and current service personnel that look after them.
I am therefore always sceptical when a car of this calibre goes missing as it’s not as though Joe Scumbag is going to be selling the alloys and seats at the local market this Sunday?
I know that cars like Impreza's and Cosworth's were renowned for being stolen for these reasons but i can't see the average Lamborghini owner buying or let alone finding someone to fit their stolen parts? I haven’t heard or seen of many newer Lambo’s going missing?
Am i being naïve or is a car like this slightly too specialist to be stolen nowadays in terms of as soon as one crashes we get multiple spotted threads along with were it is and how was in the car and how much it will be worth afterwards etc??
Therefore negating any value from stolen parts from what I can see?
Sorry I know that the facts of this case aren’t apparent such as were the keys left in it etc but it just got me thinking…..

I know the (ex)owner Johan, a really nice crazy Swedish guy who was just a bit too trusting when he let the future owner take the car to get PPI'd and it never came back.
Went to see the car myself as I fancied it for the 2003 lemans , but he 'sold' it to the other guy
Wasn't this other guy a lawyer who later moved to South Africa?
