According to the Sales Chap in Romans Intl on Monday, two more Veyron's were delivered/sold to buyers in the Manchester area in Jan/Feb too.

Bloomin common as muck these things!

I was checking out the white/black one at Roman's this week...they dont do anything for me.

An impressive piece of kit, no doubt, but they have a surprising lack of presence in the flesh and on the road.

I know what you mean, Steve. They're a funny shape, for sure.
What impresses me, though, is the packaging and general engineering details.
It's an extraordinary thing IMO.
Building a 1000hp car is relatively straight forward. Making one that will sit in traffic without destroying itself and can be driven when the mood takes (even if the weather's crap) is a hell of a feat.
The Macca F1 didn't do for me. The EB110 gave me the horn though.
At a driving day at Milbrook last year the Veyron was fully booked, largely by people who didn't look like petrolheads and arrived in their own helicopter. You know the type. People with £20M yachts.
Tell you what though. The '06 Gallardo was still louder!

I believe that car belongs to a member here awaiting delivery of his Veyron.

Ahh Mr B may have changed his mind since I brought his attention to 'Mighty Bristol'

I would agree. A great car but just doesn't do it for me.
