what happened?
In light of the emails of this week, the AGM began with an apology from the committee for the former chairman's emails.
This was followed by an explanation of the structure of the Club and therefore the means by which the Chairman was legitimately dismissed.
It's not really appropriate on open forum - IMHO - to publish full details of "the chairman matters" but they were revealed and discussed at length.
The Club's structure and constitution were discussed and an improved constitution was adopted, unanimously.
A conventional AGM then took place with reports from each of the Club officers. The reports were accepted by the members, unanimously.
The committee stood for re-election along with two new committee members (Nick Andrews and me). The committee was elected, unanimously.
Minutes will be posted to all LCUK members as soon as they are complete.
