I know close to nada about number plates. A burd from Regtransfers txt'd me today offering F430 TOY for my F430 toy. She said £3450 (no Vat) I said £2500 the owner said £2750 I said yes. Have I won, lost or drawn?

This was on FChat recently for £2995 with a comment that there was some flexibility with the price. HTH

If opinions count for anything, at £2995 I thought it sounded well priced.

I think it's a good price
I would probably have bought it if I have ever noticed the fchat thread

sod that Doug, you'll move upwards from the 430 fairly quickly then it's redundant - stick with your DSL plates , much more classy.

Naa sonny, you sell it WITH the car. Want one to transfer, get a dateless or one with your name on.

Seems a fair price for the plate for me, and one that will enhance the saleability of the F430 come sale time. Good investment IMO.

Look at the auction search facility on dvla-som.co.uk

The comparables indicate you made a good buy.
