Are they the same as the ones in a ford focus?

Paul (Freewheeler), what did you do as you've got a set haven't you?

they look the same in the pics.

Got a short out for my passenger tail light when I put the sidelights on, so was thinking I'd put them on when I'd fixed this.

Anyone know why I'd get a short'd out taillight when I put on the sidelights?

hi paul these do look like the same ones mate

if you ask for the side indicators for the ST170 focus


they only cost £5 for the pair

Yes pal, they are identical to a Focus and also a Mondeo I believe! Wish I'd known this when I bought mine because I gave over 50 quid for them!! rolleyes

Could be sadder, you could get "lamborghini" indicators for your focus.

So anyone actually fitted these?/ Are they stick on jobs or "pop in" style??

What year Focus they off?

Ok, Here goes...

1, Get a credit card thickness peice of plastic
2, using the plastic ease it behind the top straight edge of the lense and push downwards towards the triangular edge of the lense.
3, At the same time use the plastic to pull the lense forward(whilst you are still pushing down)
4, Carefully remove lense and replace with new unit.


This is how I did it, there may be otherways but this def works.

yeah thx, I'm gonna pass a ford dealer this week and get a set.

Seems a great cheap mod. (unless they cost ya 50 quid hehe ....eh Paul?)
