Need a part for my Murcie..

I need a fuel evaporation sensor which has failed on the Murcie and about the size of a 50p coin with a lead from it. Its bringing on the 'check engine' light. I refuse to pay £600 for a new one and got a price from eurospares for a used one of £500 (Thanks). Anyone know of a company breaking either a gallardo or Murcie as its the same on both cars?? Thanks!

Si. Odds are it's another generic part (like the seatbelt buckle).
Daft as it might sound, I'd take the part to an Audi or FIAT dealer and see what they say. Or just order one for an A8 and see what turns up. Betcha it's the same.

not yet, its got a v8 for the time being

Do you have the lamborghini part number for the part?

Eurospares supply used parts at 50% of new so if they have quoted you £500.00 i would guess that there might be a discrepency in their pricing. Give them another call and let thm know the new price, i'm sure they will be willing to help you out. 01787 477169

Indeed it does, but it's not the Gallardo engine. It's a 5.2 with Audi FSI, cylinderheads, exhaust, etc. About 40% Lambo at best.

Really? Bugger.
I still doubt it's not a generic part, though. It's very unusual for a car manufacturer to have this sort of ancillary component as a proprietary item.

Thanks - I'll dig the part number out. I did have a guy there fax Italy for the number, and he came back an quoted the £500 mentioned earlier.
