Thats a shame.

I like how in ebay ads for written off cars they always show a shot of the car being completely fine when your just scrolling through.

I think it needs a little more than "just a sill and door" .......

At least it wasn't a 99 model year open headlamp car. There are only nine of them.

That looks suspiciously like the ex-write off that was for sale from a salvage company in Gloucester until a gew months ago, but with a private plate. The ,ileage is right too, as it had 19K on iot IIRC. Even the black centre wheels look the same. If it is, then that took ages to sell advertised at just under £60K and isn't worth the starting bid. If it's the same car then it wasn't worth anything like £100K before the accident and isn't worth the staring bid now - it's been written off twice FFS. Of course, just speculation on my part, it could be a different car but how many of these are there in that colour, with that interior trim, and those wheels? scratchchin

Just noticed the headlamps - the opne I was thinking of had open headlamp mod - even though it was a '98 - presumably cheaper than new pop-ups. Also the whole front was painted yellow and this one has the black bits it should have, so maybe it is a different car. Needs lots nore than an outer sill and door though. Look at the damage on the door where it meets the B-pillar - suggests it really has met the B-pillar, and at least one front wheel has a bent rim, the other doesn't look completely true either. Definate walk away at £40K I think. When repaired it wouldn't be worth more than about £55 - £60K anyway.
