Hi silverfox.

I have been looking for a gallardo myself for a while. Privately owned ones are extremely rare you will be looking for a long time.

But I do know that there was a silver gallardo at portland cars near or in Doncaster. Can't remember what reg it was, it may have been 53. But I know the history of the car and it's only done around 5K worth of mileage and had a major service by Lambo manchester and a new clutch fitted.

Also there was a Orange gallardo for sale on ebay...it's been advertised a few times. So look in completed items and you should be able to find the seller. that one was definately at least an 04.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Oddly, 05's are just plain rare. Dealers can't even get them.

I really wouldn't worry about the mileage on a Gallardo. Condition is far more important. I'd rather have a 2 year old car that's been used, and serviced, than a garage queen that might still be waiting for it's first service.

Mine has done nearly 12K with the clutch at 60% wear. A good car will be sweet, regardless of miles.

Keep your fingers crossed and something will turn up.

Good luck.

Good luck with your search, but like Mike says, wouldn't be too concerned about mileage. I've just dropped mine off at Birmingham for its 30,000 mile service. The clutch was replaced with the latest revision at 3,000 miles and is still going strong. Since I’ve had the front re-spayed ( approx £500) the car inside and out looks new.

It's an 05 car, but I replaced the bonnet badge, the new one is a much higher quality, and of course the wheels, which are approx. £3200 + £300 for the centre badges.
