VIN INFO HELP NEEDED

One of the guys on the Viper section has some problems with a vin on his Viper, the car came from Italy,does anyone here have to facility to run a check on it vin# 1C3CRC5EXRV101169 in Italy?

Location or place of Sale is irrelevent. It's the place of manufacture that counts as evidenced by 1st Character of VIN. In your case 1 = North America. The check digit (to authenticate VIN) is position 9 and is calculated by a relatively simple algorythm from other characters in the VIN - See link Wikipedia

The check digit in your VIN correctly validates to "X" as follows:

Sorry I didnt make myself clear,this car left the US for Italy in 94 and I need a HPi type check done in Italy to see if its stolen or wrecked. Many thanks.
