Thought I would express my recent experience re car purchase.
Viewed car Saturday, car everything I was told on phone. Deal quickly done. Car serviced and delivered 3 working days later to my address some 200 miles away. All my calls taken or always returned, had a slight query which I put in email at 6.00 pm by 9.00 am following morning query dealt with in more than satisfactory terms. By 9.30 am both dealer princible and sales guy had called me !!!!
Have to say I have always found them to be the most appreicative and efficient main dealer in UK. I would particually recommend Chris in sales.

Agree on Graypaul generally, you feel they actually know loads about the cars, have a passion for them, listen to you, and simply treat you as a customer rather than someone who is lucky to even share their air. Mario, the Graypaul DP, is a great bloke, so it seems to rub off on his people.

I could whine on and contrast Graypaul to my old friends at Maranello Sales - the ultimate "nil points" dealership. Every so often it'd be interesting to hear a dealer who has been lampooned on here give their side of the story.

Difficult to comprehend that Graypaul is part of the Sytner Group with praise like this being made

Sorry no pics, not even a digi camera - blinking flask of tea spilt all over it on my way to view car.

I too have had great experiences with Graypaul even when they should have been bad ones. Mario Vingale has a definate passion for the brands he has and I'm amazed they are owned by the Sytner group who's customer service leaves loads to be desired

i concur with what has been said about gray paul nottingham's service 100%.

a long time ago when i was looking for a manual silver 360 spider i initially instructed lancaster colchester to find me one (since i live in essex & had bought 5 different porsches & ferraris from them in the past), but they dicked me about so much that i went online & found what i wanted at gray paul nottingham & they treated me so much better, that lancasters should be embarrassed!

they delivered it on an enclosed lorry despite the distance involved & gave me a much better trade in price for my 355 spider, plus other little bits & pieces which made all the difference.

i was very impressed with them.

Yep - used GrayPauls a few times for servicing and always had spot on service. The whole ambience of the place seemed simply very pleasant and the staff were always smiling and ready to help or chat.

If I ever bought from a main dealer they would be first on the list yes
