Despite the fact that I qualified my comments by saying that it was only half bonnet, half wing and no lights, etc, (hence the good price I got) it seems that Tom has been copping a load of flak from some of his customers as a result of the discussion around cost of fitted kits.

So...

Firstly, apologies to Paintshield for any confusion caused.

My kit was effectively a half kit and the kits fitted by Paintshield these days are even more comprhensive than the one I had fitted 2 years ago.

All Paintshield's kits are pattern cut and do not require a Stanley knife blade to go anywhere near your bodywork (which is what swayed me to them in the first place). Headlamps stay in place and are untouched, BTW.

Though I'm all for people getting as good a deal as possible I don't believe that punters going off half cocked is fair on what is a very good business.

You get what you pay for with film protection and I stand by my endorsement of Paintshield.

Tom, as per my PM on PureGT - do you travel?

Hanging out in Grantham all day + taking a day off work for the pleasure doesnt really appeal to me (unless there is a Spearmint Rhino there of course!)

A big thumbs up for Tom's work (or rather his wife and son in law's hard work). I had my 360 and 430 done and can't recommend it highly enough (especially compared to ventureshield/armorfend which I had previously used).

Mind you I was a bit alarmed at Crikey's post on costs until I read the full threads..........

Tom, is there a Spearmint Rhino's in Grantham mate?

Also, what are the local sushi & wine bars like ?

I may consider visiting the fundamental orifice of the UK if the answers to the above are favourable to me?

Thanks mate

Cheaper to breed a workforce than employ them (we do have employees btw)
