Guys,

My car is going in to High Wycombe for some service work - has anyone had their Murcie/Gallardo brake calipers powder coated??

If so who did it, how much did it cost - and were there any "complications"?

Thanks

Hi dealmaker,
send me a pm with a contact number and I'll give you a call. Having my own powder coating business I'll be able to answer your questions.
cheers Graeme.

But here's a couple of close ups of the wheels.

Those look great! How far away are they from the "official" titanium finish?

If you don't mind me asking - how much did it cost?

On brake caliper coating I'm being told it's a big job because the whole caliper needs to be stripped down and this involves them having to be sent off for a pressure test before being re-installed? anyone else heard this?

They spoke about this some time back over on LP, the general opinion seemed to be against powder coating.... Can't remember why though!! I had mine painted a couple of months back, an etched prined followed by base coat and lacquer! No problems at all!!

They're slightly darker and the colour seems more bold.

I paid £200 to get them done, However there were no tyres on the wheels and i had to split and rebuild them myself
