I saw the pistonheads sticker on the back. Didnt know you was on here.

Andy's at Bruntingthorpe again today again. He'll be on here this evening no doubt. He's got his silencers on in any case.
On a different note I would have been there also but the Murcie's V12 has gone bang big time. Needs a new crankshaft and god knows what else. Gutted

Gutted that SG54 is not feeling to well.

Hi Simmon, very sorry to here about your Lambo's engine, considering how well you look after the car this does seem rather odd.I seem to remember reading you had the the oil pump changed just before the car ran out of warranty, might just be the culprit.

There's not much to go on these cars thats catastrophic - it has timing chains not belts (like F-cars) and is very kind to tyres thanks to 4wd. The V12 is bombproof

In fact its the same problem it had a few months ago. The pulley on the end of the crankshaft has sheared off again, throwing off the drive belt. Last time the factory refused to replace the block and asked Lambo Manchester to effect a repair which meant a load of drilling and rebuilding. I had no problem with this as it was just out of warranty anyway and it was good of them to do it anyway. My only hope is they remember that and even though its well out of warranty they make a contribution or better.
Failing that I might get it on a truck, take it to the factory myself (where the labour rate is half what it is here) and get them to do it. We'll see what the factory says this week. At the end of the day its had some real stick SG54 so I'm just going to be philsophical about it.

Glad you enjoyed the ride, just got back home and am Knackered! Basically my car is as follows:-

06 Model Engine, 06 model re-map, de-catted,tubi fitted, high flow air filters. Kicked out 532Hp on the WRC dyno.

Andy, have the filters made any discernable difference to performance?

Did you run without those pesky cats for a while before trying the filters out?

Noticed your RR figure and was curious.

Neighbours have stopped talking to me since Saj fettled the valves on mine
