Hi,

I was on the motorway and saw something very interesting but have no idea what it was. It was badged up as a Bugatti, the rear light cluster was like a Ferrari 355 and it was quite squared off. There was a roof scoop which extended all the way to the back of the car and made a separation of the cabin. I know it wasn't the EB110 as the lights weren't square like that - they resembled more of a Veyron. Although I know it wasn't a Veyron as it was too square and they just don't come with roof scoops in general.

I've no idea what it was, it's possible it could have just been a Kit-car or someone trying to emulate a new Veyron un-successfully. Either way it sounded like there was a V8 in it.

Thanks

I had a search, but couldn't find it - there was a thread about what I think this is a while ago.
IIRC, it was quite well built - not a kit, but built as some form of prototype they hoped to sell as a concept to Bugatti.
It was for sale at a Sports and Kit car dealer at the time. I think it was Audi based.

That thing? Apparently it's a EMB Tazio Coupe, whatever that is?

Edit: Does the pic work OK now? The car was at the Candy Tunnel Run in London apparently.

Some idiot at Hallmark Cars said:
Reportedly offered to a number of major players in the sports car world for possible volume production. One can see styling similarities with Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti.

Thats because it is a shitty replica thing that borrows styling cues from the 'major players' and stuck it on an Audi, understandable that no 'major players' took it on board!!

Edited for speeling

It could be, do you happen to have any other pictures from any other angles? I thought the headlights were a bit more rounded, like a Veyron than square like that but the scoop's pretty close. Any reason why it had a Bugatti badge on it or just the owner dreaming a little?

It was. I was behind it in the Limehouse Tunnel and it filled my car with fumes. It is a very strange contraption indeed.

Looks like a bad Veyron replica based on a 355.

Certainly different though.
