Hiring one is an obvious short term option...However im more inclined to be looking at a long term ownership experience as i cant ever imagine getting fed up with the sound and looks......

I want a black one not bothered about manual or e/gear just want one so any ideas other than killing my freind or robbing the local building society would be greatly appreciated..

However getting rid of my friend would have two benefits !!!! First I could get his car second his missus is super model gorgeous and with her being a free agent and me having a LAMBO !!!!!!

Remortgage? I was gonna say go behind your missus back and do it, but since you want to shag your best mates girl, I'm sure she has worse things to worry about

There is no cheap way of getting into a lambo. When you've paid for the car (obviously depending on mileage used) you can expect to be shelling out £5-6K a year for usual running costs (insurance, tyres, fuel, servicing etc) plus any finance payments (which can typically be £1,000 a month or more.

I would imagine the cheapest kind of route is to join P1 or Ecurie25. Limited access but then again limited costs.

You like the noise??

How about a nice Ferrari F355 de-catted with a tubi or capristo exhaust?

Cheaper and excitement must be on par?!

As previously said - depending on your circumstances - remortgage/top up home loan for £80-90k = <£400pm interest only.

hi mate

ive just bought a Gallardo taking delivery next wed

this is a deal i was offered ( i didnt take it cos i wanted to put a higher deposit down )but this was the best offer with least outlay

cost of car 78 k ( was originally 86 but i used the dealing skills employed by fellow board member Paracetomol lol )
dep 2 K
48 x £1000.52 with ballon of 47 K

now you just have to find a good car at that price as suddenly they are very hard to come by !

seriously i have fancied a gallardo for about 18 months and there has always been a lot around till the day i sell my 360 to paracetamol and then suddenly there is only a few around lol

go for it mate

Thats not bad. Paying more than that on my XKR. What model G was it that you managed to get down to £78k?

Looking at changing my car at end of summer. Always thought i'd get an F-car, but those G's are soooo damn tempting.

yes thats correct,

dont mean to be funny but how in your valued opinion should a person buy a car like this, some of us are not blessed with the ability to pay cash and wouldnt even if i could.

can i ask how you purchase your cars

Not having a go - just shocked when I did the sums! I expect my GT3 is costing me 200 /month in cost of money. I suppose when you double the price of the car, the cost of money doubles too.

Finance is the only way for 'normal' people to buy high value cars.
