i would like to ask if anyone on here has been to previous auto italia day at booklands and what to expect etc
i am going to the one on the 5th may and would like to know what would be good to see
i don't normally post on the Ferrari Maserati Lamborghini etc forum as i am a lotus owner but one day a fcar will be mine O yes it will be mine

er, basically...

• you go along to Brooklands

• pay the money that Brooklands require to get in to the place (NOT Auto Italia...)

• if you're not in an Italian car you'll be directed to somewhere away from the main parking areas such as in front of the Club house and then...

• you can then spend whatever time you want eyeballing all the Italian cars or wander about the museum exhibits, (gets less interesting after your 6th visit, this coming May will be my 15th or possibly more), taking a look at the new Mercedes 'stuff' and then wonder what it is that causes a place like Brooklands to charge so much when there isn't that much to see, other than it being very historically interesting if you are into old racing stuff etc...

Good to go at least once though - don't be put off by folk who haven't (quite) got the simple matter mentioned above about who actualy charges for people getting in!

It is different this year I think.Non Italian cars are being parked in the Merc world area.
