Ken (fbloke) and myself got up nice and early to head up to Lancaster Ferrari in Colchester ready for the arrival of the baton and to join (part of) the convoy

On the way we saw this beauty:

Once we got to the showroom we had a look round:

We then got on the road for the trip to the Harlow Shell station, unfortunately the Ferrari convoy (led by a Met Officer) went the wrong way on the M11 and so turned up a bit late - we went the right way, along with a yellow 360 Spider - and waited for them to arrive:

Hope you like

The 250SWB you saw ended up in London for the meeting there - Terry Hoyle at the wheel.

Small world - I pulled up at the Harlow Shell station in my Mercedes Cosworth 2.3-16 just as the convoy was getting ready to leave - saw the 430 spyder and a 355 with a "J" prefix - FBloke's car?...didn't spot your 308 though Andy - were you a passenger in the 355?

Ken (fbloke) owns the 355, I was the passenger in that, Andy had gone home by that point

Ken did his best to try to persuade the owner of the 360 to join one of the forums - but he didnt sound too interested.

Did you all drive through London as well with a motorbike ploice escort? If it was any of you, thanks for making my weekend! Was walking up Gloucester Road from Hyde park and stopped and watcehd as you all went past. The following morning got woken up by a Merc Mclaren hooning it around outside our hotel in Lowndes Place. A good weekend for car spotting!

Not me - I was the grinning fool watching the cars head off hehe
