Saw a Veyron last night outside the Dorchester Hotel in London. My G/F was driving as we went past and so doubled back to get some pics. Still doesn't do it for me and the two tone colour combo is a bit naf!

Anyway, the owner eventually came out and started to drive off so we followed and pulled up next to him at a set of lights. My G/F asked him to rev it a bit and he obliged. I was a bit disappointed to say the least because it sounded like a VW Golf. Extremely quiet even on the move! However, maybe the guy was still getting used to the car as he still had a plastic sheet covering his seat!

If I was driving something that expensive, there would be a plastic sheet on my seat!!!

well, i did see the doorman having a word with the 'owner' and he did have a lady friend with him. Come to think of it not the safest thing to do driving a 252mph car with slippery plastic sheets on your seat confused

I think its the son of the king? of Qatar from the numberplate - I've seen it around a bit with a bentley in the same colourscheme.

Orange/ Black cars in town are Bahrain Royal Family, incl the Veyron and the Flying Spur which are always in Mayfair (esp outside the Dorchester)

I know its well and truly irrelevant when daddy has this much cash but how freakin much must an insurance premium be for an A level student on a veyron!!?

the orange/black car and the red/silver cars are two different cars and owners.
It is just a coincidence that they both regularly reside at the Dorchester hotel.
This is the silver and red one with it's newly acquired number plate.
The number is worth half the value of the car too!

i was at the dorchester friday through monday & the veyron was only there on friday. i thought it must be a product placement from a dealership as the car was spotless. no dirt on the tires, no insects on number plate or paint work. but perhaps i was mistaken.

a yellow LP640 was there aswell, which was made to look tiny by the phantom next to it.
