Yeah Rob I sold the roadshaggin' Vette to my mechanic. I've really missed it but hopefully the TR will more than make up for it - especially once I've got a Tubi on it yes

Got it with time to be fettled before Le Mans, really can't wait for the off

Can't wait to see pics. Would love a Testarossa myself. I was exactly the right age to have a poster of a Testarossa on my during the era that Testarossa posters were on boys' walls. Needless to say I had one, and have always wanted the real thing. One day perhaps!

A very big congratulations. In a couple of weeks a few of us chaps are going to take a week out driving through France and then on down to the lambo, pagani and fezza factories. Two of the cars will be testarossas, one is a TR that I got to take for a spin at the le mans classic last year. Lovely bits of kit. Enjoy and regards, Graeme

What a great day! Must rank as one of my best. Sun was shining. Razzed over the Peaks with the top down on Sarbs 360, loving the Capristo, caned it round the M60 and picked the TR up. What an experience. Sweaty palms coming through the traffic in Stockport but once on the A623 from Chapel-en-le-Frith accross the Peak to Sheffield it was fantastic. A two Ferrari convoy really stopped the traffic.

After a few miles the TR seems to shrink around you and handles like a big go-kart. Just need that Tubi now yes

Leaving in Sarbs bad boy

Collecting the TR

Big thanks due to Sarbs for talking me into a TR in the first place and for not getting rattled when my rear numberplate flew off at 80mph outside Peak Forest and nearly took his windscreen out eek

Looking good mate, you must be delighted

Picking my baby up tomorrow, X-Ost has been fitted. Time to get an ASBO

Hope you will be out giving it large over the weekend...?

I can't wait, had the worst day of my life today so I am looking forward to hearing 12 of Maranello's finest singers!

Pete - Let me know how the X-OST sounds. I've got a busy weekend but should be able to fit a blast over the Snake Pass in somewhere

Thanks Rob. Best of all, this actually goes round corners, a big advantage over the Corvette.
