Navigation - SD Card problem

Hi Guys

Anybody got problems with their SD reader on the Nav system?

I had a 64Mb SD Card which was working perefectly fine until.....I formated it on my laptop. When I put it back into the stereo it kept saying data corrupted even though the files are fine and play perfectly on either of my laptops.

I also tried my 4Gb card but that doesn't work either

Any ideas??

What have you formatted the card to?

if its NTFS it won't work, the card needs to be formatted to FAT16 or FAT32 to work on the RNS-E unit.

I've had a similar problem in the past with formatting SD card to be read in a TomTom machine.

Check that you have formatted them as FAT not FAT32.

That should see you OK. If not, then I'll step away, as my limited knowledge is exhausted
