Hey guys driving my car a few times and with no warning the engine has stalled.

When I turn over the engine is ticks over, the light on the dash comes up "OK" but when I press the accelerator there is no power and the car stalls again??

It doesn't do it often but at awkward times (in the middle of the road in traffic)

Anyone else had the same?

yep an aquaintence of mine had the same problem on his brand new gallardo about maybe 2 years ago. He took me for a spin in it and the car kept stalling, ie reversing out of the drive and later just sitting in a bit of traffic. He asked my opinion about the problem and I said phone Lambo up and get it sorted because it should not be doing this. After all it makes you look like a total to**er with no clutch control. Apparently when you pull away the electronics back the torque of I believe some 40% to give the clutch an easier life.
As far as I know it was sorted with a software update but I have not seem him since. The car was great but he will always be a to**er.

Mine did exactly the same thing after they put the new 06 motor in it. They resolved it in the end by modifying the ECU map (there are several versions available depending on which MY your car is).

Hope this helps.

Andy.

Isn't this a car you've had for only a few weeks?? Didn't you have a problem getting reverse too?? SOunds like the car needs to go back to the dealer ASAP while they still have responsibility for it.
