Ordered a new stereo for the Murci this week, and plan a little dash rejuventation, how's this look?

Bought a Double Din Alpine Stereo from caraudiosecurity.com bargain at 549.99 plus the leads.

Alpine: IVA-W200Ri Motorised Double Din DVD/CD/MP3 player

Oh and maybe these wheels?

Screw you lot then!! hehe

I actually thought they weren't too blingy as I thought the coloured centres would look good and not too tacky.....back to the drawing board then?

I am looking at getting the centre console in a black carbon style leather effect that my trimmers has in, as it's mega money for any carbon parts and in limted supply.

Anyone know where to get the double din spacers on either side for the dash? Are these just going to be ones from the likes of halfords?

This is a joke right ?

If I had money to spend on a Murci I would put it towards more and more power.

I still think the Roadster wheels are the best for the Murci

Agreed - especially in the darker colour (which is why mine are getting painted this week)

I am also getting the double DIN Alpine unit fitted when car comes back - my local ICE guy is fitting it and making some custome "side-pieces" trimmed in leather to make it look "factory fit"

No mate, I don't like the flip out screen I have it gets in the way of the gearstick so seen this picture above and thought I'd like a flat unit sunk in, and I liked the wheels as I thought owning a Lambo was about being different so why do I want the same wheels as everyone else. Trouble is all the stuff said here and elsewhere about aftermarket wheel problems and also everyone has Roadster wheels hehe.

Mate, what would I do with more power?

Hi Paul

I have a flip out screen as well, The double DIN looks much better in the car and alot more practical, If it wouldn’t double or triple the cost by adding a sat nav and multi disk unit to the double DIN, I would consider it myself.

I have read on Lambo power that after market wheels are not guaranteed to operate at the same speeds as the OEM wheels. I have a spare set of OEM wheels and tyres, why don’t you buy them from me and paint them pink or something? Then you can satisfy your individuality

Hey Mandeep, I went for SATnav-less system as TBH Satnav is not worth the hassle and the Kenwood unit you want that does it all is in the picture, but it's twice the price of the CD usnit I got, but then again I am a tight barsteward!!hehe

Apparently the bluetooth is much better in the Kenwood too, but again I hardly call when in the motor as it's too noisey anyway.

And as for the wheels, whats your tyres like on them?

Interior looks nice, what's the reason for not going the RNS-E route as in the Gallardo?

Wheels, no!

All IMHO of course.

The RNS-E is the Audi double DIN CD/ Radio/ Sat nav as used in the Gallardo.

I just thought it would be the obvious choice.

Tyres have about 7mm of tread of them. Paul don't do the aftermarket wheels.

Paul

The tyres had loads of wear left on them when I lent them to Johnny, since he only used them for like 2 weeks and we all know he’s a boulevard cruiser.... they should still be ok rolleyes

The Mc Womble Murci... hmmm could work! The scottish reply to the Versace edition

Seriously though mate, dont give Paul any crazy ideas as I think he must be cash rich this month having had the car at the workshop for 3 weeks..... would have saved him a ton on fuel costs.
