Loving my G car, but getting a bit cross with the idling. In traffic the revs rise to 2000 revs and fall back to 1500 then 1000, and sometimes they drop far enough to stall, and re-starting can take 3 or 4 attempts for the engine to catch.

Lambo London apparently cleaned the throttle bodies as part of the PDI, but this doesn't seem right to me!

Car is manual, any ideas?

Yes Beaver mines the same! It also runs rough on light throttle openings! I find pulling off very tricky as it always feels like it may stall at anytime
By the way does yours have a Tubi? mine does and i wondered if that might be causing it??!
Be good to hear if anyones else has this problem??

Sometimes have the same problem with the Murcielago!! Makes you look like a right muppet at the lights! Usually, by giving the throttle bodies a real good clean sorts the problem, do mine every month - 6 weeks!!

Wish I knew what throttle bodies look like (and how to clean them). Any pointers?

Mine did have a Tubi which LL took off as they said it would affect idling and other problems, and that their policy was not to supply warranty cars with one on....

Clean the throttle bodies, carbon deposits make the tickover not smooth. Makes a big difference

Have seen it on tubi/non-tubi cars

Sounds good in theory! but Lambo High Wycombe cleaned mine and it was exactly the same!! Well they charged me for it anywayargue
Must say not that happy with the work they charged me for or the service they gave! Getting Verdi to do the clutch. Hopefully that will be better value??! Although i know that i still need to get main agents to do servicing etc!
Anyone else had problems @ High Wycombe or is it just mepunch

I concur with my learned colleague above. teacher

This is typical of choked up throttle bodies. Both the G and Murci are prone to this if they spend any significant time in traffic, without a decent run in between to clear their throats. (It's never happened to Larry because he's rarely in traffic for long.)

Incidentally the Gallardo's throttle bodies are the two silver blocks twix intake plenum and airbox. You really can't miss 'em.

If Lambo Wycombe cleaned them out, give them a buzz and ask them to have another look. Mr Schultz is not an ogre, you know.

checked lambopower - seems to be a known problem, so it's off to Lambo London for a checkover. They say it's to do with the carbon canister?
