Anybody been or going to the Monaco grand prix?

If so any general tips about going to watch it? In particular where is the best place to watch it from without buying a silly price ticket.

Is it possible to watch it without a ticket?

Any tips woyuld be greatly appreciated.

hi there m8 i went last year and going again this year we sat at the chicane after the tunnel and that wasnt a bad price. its a fantastic place to be hearing the cars braking from 180mph down to 40mph-50mph going down the gears and then accelerating onto the swimming pool complex it was unbelievable.

this year we are going to be at casino square lokking forward to that. unfortunately you need a ticket to see anything the monagasque police are very strict.

this a grand prix i very much recommend going to. imo its one of the best motor racing events on the calender.

one of my favourite parts of the weekend is monaco itself after 7 onwards all the multi millionaires come to play and the supercar line up in casino square is like nothing else.
i have been visiting monaco since i was a kid (well i still am) and the cars you see when its not race weekned is outstanding but on race weekend it well leaves you gob smacked.

last year there was 8 yes 8 murcielago roadsters, 4 enzos, 5 carrera gts, 2 slr s and 20+ f430s and a lot more.

the best value for money seat is probably ras cas i think best to research some prices m8.

hope i could be of help m8 cheers.

thanks guys.

I will just buy a ticket as the trip is not cheap anyway!

How does it compare to Le Mans? (completely different I recognise but as much fun?)

This will be my 7th year at Monaco, usually drive down in convoy with a few lambo`s
best place to watch the race is from a boat in the harbour, only 10 ft from the track, but it costs 900euro !
