just in the process of buying a gallardo car from a ferrari dealer who took it in as part ex..
they said that they will service it and have sent it to lambo
the last service was done over as year ago,..
they said they are only getting an oil service done and that the major service will be due at 15k
car has done 12,750 miles.

they are offering to pay halp of the major 15k service

question basically is the major service done annually or at 15k

Services are based on mileage. There is no need to have an 'annual service', as such.

That said, oil usage varies from car to car to some extent, and that's about the only thing that needs regular checks (apart from the obvious brakes and tyres, etc).

The 15K service is essentially an oil/filter change, plugs, and fuel filter and air filters. Then a check of suspension, braking and steering systems. Usually around £2K give or take a couple of hundred quid.

Good luck.

Can anybody tell me when at what mileage the first service is due, what it checks and how much it costs?

Thanks!

Thanks Mikey, trying to get the price down on a car at the moment, i want it serviced and according to them it will cost them over £2k, hence they cant go any lower on price!
