Anyone looked at, or know anything about the lambo for sale here on classifieds. I think it was advertised a while ago for 99k, now down to 89k. I am very tempted but wanted to know if it had a doubious past anyone knew of. It seems so cheap.

it was mentioned before he changed the advert that the engine had been replaced, maybe that was slowing the sale as it's not mentioned now.

A good friend went to view the car , it had a warranty engine back in 04 and hasn't been used or serviced since . This put my mate off , albeit he had the guy down to 80

So £80k + £unknown doesnae really make it a cheap car does it.

Surely if it was just checked over and serviced then it's mokst likely ok, but why does anyone buy a car like that and not seervice it for like 2-3yrs? Bizarre????

Surely this could be solved by a service and a "101 point check" to highlight any issues, or dont Lambo do this?

How come most other murci's seem to be on sale for over 100k (some are well over)? Do they sell for immense reductions to advert price then?

But that does leave gaps in the service history when trying to sell the car on.

You pays for what you get and it is a bad colour for a Murcie. With the s/h i'd say it's worth 90k

I think his was a bit younger and more miles.

Anyway, these cars are so indivdual that it is not easy to say what they are worth to a buyer....not a trader as they will always have to respect the fact that they need to sell them on quickly to a rtetailer who will sit with it possibly for upto 12 months dependent on the particular car.

I would say the colours that sell quickly are black, yellow and orange, however intereiors matter on these cars too as the orange one with blue interior has been hanging about for donkeys now on Autotrader.

You just need the riught person at the right time with the right cash and in the right frame of mind, and also a good salesman will help!! biggrin

I wanted a colour that wasn't too in yer face, but wanted the lines and the power and the noise, so it's all down to what people want. I like the car but the s/h wopuld put me off as an oqner I can see what has been spent on mine in the last 2 years and it ain't cheap if you use it!!

Thanks everyone, it certainly made interesting reading. As Kryten pointed out, how come others are advertised at or over 100k, yet sell for 80k?

Spose the best thing to do is to contact him and get the history, ect. from the horses mouth.

Mind you, a dodgy past could affect resale, and i wouldn't like to think of extra costs involved if something went pop driving it home!
