Driving Experience - What Car?
Discussion
Was bought one of these Red Letter Day style driving experiences at Silverstone for my birthday. Have a choice of 911, various Ferrari's or Lambo's for a track experience.
I currently drive a Maser 3200GT and wondered what might offer the most different or enjoyable experience (within the limits of a driving experience!)
Cheers

Well, a 3200GT takes some beating for thrills-value but...
A 911 (pretty much any 911) is a totally unique experience compared to most sports cars. They dance and twitch like nothing else, on the limit, and the engine noise is equally unique.
A Ferrari is, well, a Ferrari. And that's reason enough to take out one. Okay, some weren't very good but they all have that magic halo, and the odds are it's a good one that you'll get to drive.
And a Lambo is a rare beast (even with all these Gallardos charging about) and probably the maddest car available to you (apart from your 3200GT).
Ideally, you should drive all three. Your appreciation of what can and can't be done in sportscar engineering will then be complete.
Sorry. Not much help.
Instead of rationalizing it, try and work out what would piss your colleagues off the most and drive that.

How close do you get to drive it on or close to the limit? If you just want to drive a fezza/lambo having a maser will open the doors for you at the dealers, porkers are common so similarly anyone can get a drive in one. Guess it depends which will also give you the most option to have some fun.
