Beautiful! I saw a black GT at a car show in the Birmingham NEC years ago. Don't know if its still in the UK though.
Amazing!! Wasn't there something about GT's not being street legal in some, if not all US states???
How are you Freewheeler? Keep seeing the black Gallardo regularly these days. Unfortunately still haven't managed to see the SE30 yet, although it was behind my son about a month ago. Glad you still have the Murci.

Nice Car, but WTF is that Halfords'esque abortion of a rear camera kit on the rear wing ?
If the car has only done 500 odd miles, WTF did he need a rear camera for anyway....I bet its never been reversed parked! LOL
the rear camera was standard equipment on the GTIf the car has only done 500 odd miles, WTF did he need a rear camera for anyway....I bet its never been reversed parked! LOL
I have one fitted to my 6.0 but it is next to the rear lights and blends in much better - me, I wouldn't have bothered personally

Looks stunning except for the alloys.
Imagine that with a Tubi/Larini/QS/Koenig decat exhaust !
You would have the fire brigade following you everywhere ! (maybe not so good
)
am i right in thinking the gt was decat with sports ex as std?Imagine that with a Tubi/Larini/QS/Koenig decat exhaust !

)i think the autocar road test was around 8 secs to 100 and jason told me they figured it in the damp

those wheel look to be the standard - for a GT - alloys on this car and
Alvin's car is the silver one. As he funded a racing GTR in 2001, he has a GTR badge on his GT but I'm 100% certain that's about as far as the 'R' bits go.
Back when Jason was still there, I was visiting for some general nattering, as one did when one had an office in a nicer part of Kensington (those were the one days etc one etc)... and JB told me that Alvin and family were about to drop by to look at their new motor.
The engine was running a few minutes later, the Range Rover customers at the other side of the room were cancelling / multiplying orders as they heard the Diablo and, due to it being a slightly damp day, the car began to create a tiny, tiny cloud just ahead of the roof air intake.
Jason commented that the car was so god-like, it was able to actually create its own weather...
btw, there is NO rear window / rear mirror in the GT, the camera and the wing mirrors are the only things that let you see backwards - no matter how naff the little box might look just a' hangin' there!
