Cant open 355GTB passenger door??

Just picked up a 355GTB today to put into stock but there is a little problem with the passenger door.Basically it wont unlock on the switch or the key.The plunger moves up very slightly but it seems as if something has siezed(central locking motor maybe??)Has anyone else with a 355 ever had this problem and if so what was the solution??The key turns easily back and forth in the lock but only enough to move the plunger back and forth a little.

Just been fiddling around with the key,gently easing the plunger up as far as it would go and then back down again and eventually hey presto-it unseizes itself and now its working properly again.I switched the headlights on and noticed the drivers side dipped beam wasnt working so got out of the car to investigate,closed the door and as it latched the dipped bulb came on!!Dont you just love Italian cars!

Has this car sat around in damp garage or outside as sounds like you have some dodgy connections this could prove quite a

I doubt it, but for feck's sake don't beep the horn as the doors will almost definitely fall off

Rule #5 of buying a Ferrari (Italian car!):

Always, ALWAYS check ALL electrical items prior to agreeing a price. ALWAYS. And if so much as one fuse is blown, lightbulb defective or item is working slowly either

a) Walk away
b) Insist it gets fixed prior to your purchase or
c) Get several '000s knocked off the price, collect it and take it straight to an auto-electrician and leave it there for a few months.
