Anyone want a Gallardo sports exhaust system in place of OEM

I have just pourchased a 04 UK Gallardo with a sports exhaust system fitted

I am not sure yet what type it is, however, if someone can point me in a direction of how to find out it would be useful.

I would prefer the OEM system, as I find this one a tad too loud for my tastes. But it does sound awesome !

Anyone with an OEM exhaust want to do an exchange?

Well, I love the look of the car and what it can do, although the attention it gets is too much for my liking. The problem is when this rumbles down the high street everyone stares 500 yds before you get to them. I'd prefer it was more subtle in town, but you get the noise when you open her up. Its probably my age as I hit 40 this year

Ok, so you DO love the noise but when you have to go to Lidel or something its a bit too much...well it IS possible to have a little butterfly valve installed, so that at a certain RPM (say 4k) it opens.
That will reduce the supercar stare until they spot you.


I haven't checked out your video yet because Im at work, but I would seriously consider just having a modification done so you can keep the ear to ear smile when you go for it !

If youre the guy whom is reguarly on Dickens Heath in Solihull PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE that system!! It sounds truly incredible and makes me jump up and run to just catch a glimpse
