Hey i read here a while back that the front plate is not required for the enzo under uk law? Is that BS or is legal. I wouldnt even know about asking a copper if its tosh or not. If not do any of you know a reputable place that do those stick on plates? im thinking at the bottom of the left intake on the front but id rather have nothing there. Cheers guys as usual your help is much appreciated.

I believe the original thread on this stated that the Enzo can be excused from having a front plate, but each individual owner has to request an excusal for his/her car in order to take advantage of it. How true that is I don't know, but I'd be inclined to ask first as the £200-300 fine money would be much better spent on pies!

It's almost certainly a £30 fixed penalty fine with no points, so a total non issue. As for the chances of getting stopped, apparently the front plate on my car has been absent for two and a half years with no issues.

might have spoken to the wrong person
I was told by an FUK dealer that no front plate was needed

It certainly is needed, the Road Traffic Act wasn't amended to take account of the Enzo wink

But isn't the law that front plates are not required on cars which were never designed to have one fitted?

Look at the front of a F348 for example. It's clearly designed not to have a front plate fitted smile Perhaps the Enzo is the same?

Nope. You must have one. End.
