I normally stick in Optimax when I can, but there is no supply really local. If I am using normal supermarket fuel, am I better just using the usual 95 ron unleaded or 98 ron. As I understand it, Optimax may be "Ferrari fuel", but it is just a brand of 98 ron (or thereabouts). I believe the car is mapped for 95 ron, but will automatically adjust to 98.

I am tempted to use Optimax when I can, but normal 95 when I can't. If however it will run "better" on 98 whether it is Optimax brand or not, it must be worth the price difference just to run it on the higher ron all the time.

Anyone with any advice?
