Tempting car on e-bay?

There are 2 cars that i'm currently watching on ebay that seem to be really good prices One of which (the 360 spider) I am guessing is a scam anyone have any thoughts on these?

was originally registered in Malaysia before coming to the UK in 1999.
Import - Right-hand-drive but with KMs on the odo. Might put some folk off.

The clutch and cambelt were changed in 2005 less than 1,000 previous.
That's two years ago, so they'll need doing again soon regardless of mileage covered since last done.

We also tested all the controls which worked fine except we were unable to operate the heating control.
Heating needs fixing.

Price looks about right considering the imminent work that needs doing. The fact that it's 'rare' white doesn't count for much IMO - rare colour = colour which not many people ordered new = colour which isn't very desirable = car which is harder to sell.

MitchT beat me to it!!

Doesnt look that clean an example to be honest and looks like you'll need to spend a couple of £k on a decent service and the cambelts. Your then left with a car in and odd colour (I'm not a fan of it in white to be honest) with a speedo that reads in KM instead of MPH. Also its a 91 so probably still has the battery in the back.

You'd be better off spending nearer £27-£28k for a decent one with fresh service and belts IMHO.......

Couple of decent ones on Pistonheads if you have a look.

The 03 Spider is a scam, has been on there before. Surely the fact that is £25k less than dealers are asking must ring some alarm bells!

The 03 Spider is a scam, has been on there before. Surely the fact that is £25k less than dealers are asking must ring some alarm bells!

Particularly when ther seller decorates his ad with poker cards and play chips...

Yes the 360 is a scam(notice the link at the bottom to email the 'seller')
