Chaps,

Anyone in the know if there is something wrong at Pirelli ? Seems that there is a difficulty getting tyres from them - first we could not get 355x25x19's from them (ok rare but now been 4 months adn there are quite a few globally clamouring for this size) now you cannot get standard 550 tyres (295x35x18) and shock horror no availabilty for Maserati QP tyres now either. With August looming fast when all of Italy's factory sector is on holiday things are not looking good for those of us with tyres on back order.Or is there something more afoot. Pirelli will not give out any useful information on when tyres are going to be produced which leads to the question is there some financial problem within Pirelli maybe ??

If anyone has any news please let us lesser fortunate souls know .....

If you are talking getting rosso's then the reason I'm told for the supply issue is it's being discontinued and new tyre out shortly

concur with blot. as i posted on here a few weeks ago when I was finding it very difficult to get p-zero for gallardo, despite being on european backorder and their 'alert' list there was still no supply forthcoming - reason given from one sourec - new tread pattern out shortly.

My local supplier just had a new pirelli pzero delivered which are in stock - anyone know the difference between these and the Rosso? And yes I really did get the name right, they are just called P-zero, not rosso or corsa!

When my new SL55 arrived it was shod with rosso's because it was factory derestricted, otherwise it would have had the p-zeros.
So I guess p-zero 186mph rated, rosso's 186=mph rated.
