Paint shop for the 3200
Discussion
The 3200GT is in need of a bit of paint work due to some rust appearing on the lip of the boot, and under the Maserati badge. Can anyone recommend a paint shop in Essex, Suffolk or East London who can sort this for me (and refurb the alloys too while they are at it!) Someone mentioned a place in Maldon a while ago to me but I cannot for the life of me remember any details. Any help welcome.

Always done a top job on the Nobles I've seen (including mine), and the odd Ford GT. Good prices too.

Without a shadow of doubt, there are 2 places I would go blindfolded

speak to Alan, top-guy. M40 direction, just past Reading (I know, not your side of the map, but they are seriously good). To the south in Sussex-land

and speak to Shane, another top-guy, despite owning an Aston DB7
You will get the best in terms of paint matching and finish. Top places and sensibly priced too.
On the wheel refurb, have them done at Lepsons. Would say damn hard to match the work those guys do (they will strip'em bare, power-coat and bake your allows properly, finish is second to none).
As for the GS on its way, pics to follow shortly upon delivery. Grigio Palladio w/nero, full leather interior and fully equipped

Cheers Ed, muchly appreciated, will certainly have a look in that direction. As for your GS, look forward to seeing it in the flesh. Lancasters have had a nice Rosso Indiannapolis GS on their forecourt for a little while, although its only a couple of mile up the road I've managed to resist the urge to even look. I'm thinking I really need to scratch the itch that involves a horse prancing across a cars bonnet! We shall see......Without a shadow of doubt, there are 2 places I would go blindfolded

Regardless, look forward to catching up, and see the GS at some stage in the not too distant future. (and as for your present incumbant 4200, whoever ends up with it will be a very lucky chap/chapette, as I'm well aware of the level to which it has been maintained (I'm not in Ed's employ etc. etc., it really is the dogs bits.)
Cheers Simon. The 2 places I posted above are the ticket, seriously. I've seen the work they do and it is just outstanding. Period. With a Maser you don't have to cut corners.
Thanks for the heads-up on the 4200; TBH I have not yet decided if giving it to a dealer/indie to handle, or if selling it privately.
Would prefer the latter but I have not much time for it and want to avoid the troll. What do you reckon? But would like it to go to "proper" hands. I've pampered it and it is a joy to drive, and it will be nice to see her again in some months or years time in as good condition (and giving as much pleasure to the new owner) as it is now.
Dave will give her the proper Zymol treatment to concours level on Wednesday, weather allowing.
Despite the new wheels arriving, it will be sad to see her go...
So if anyone around seriously interested, just PM me.
As for the GS, sure bet I'm going to go around with her to the PH meets. Wonder what's happened (and will happen) with the Beckton meet, although I know Sid (Angelis) has been doing some work on his Fezza. Alternatively there is always the congregation @ The Woodman... hope the summer brings the best out of PHer activity..!
Cheers mate
