lamborghini 350 gt prices
Discussion
Many magazines might think they know the answer to your question and often the prices given in the UK range from £60,000 down to £40,000 for a good and potentially useable car...
The magazines and indeed many individuals still think that Lamborghini values are related to the same value-system as any other cars and also think that 'the market' determines these values and not the people involved in the buying and selling of them.
As regards 350GT's, there are so few around that even a car needing some attention is going to be worth at least £40,000, so a car in good condition would be the high side of the figures here, at the very least.
With due respect to any opinions given about 'what the market demands' and 'previous sales determine actual costs' and other such b*llsh*t, a car like this will be exactly the value the current owner puts on it and 'the market' for it based only on the few people who have the good taste to actually want one of them...
I can hear the howls of derision from many people there, but I'd just like to ask:
Whatever the standard of a vehicle like this actually is,
could anyone find another one in any condition and anywhere at all?
could anyone buy another one at less than whatever price is being asked?
The market for these cars is so small and so specialised that the cost of them is determined by the obvious fact that they are incredibly rare - control-freaks need not apply and should go and buy a car that's easier for them to pidgeonhole and classify!
In the meantime - let's see some pictures of the car you are interested in! The original 'production' Lamborghini has a reputation of being a sound performer and also enjoys a status that at the time it was built was clearly, obviously, utterly far and away above any similar format Ferrari!
I love the 350GT and all the front V12 Lamborghinis - they were exactly what FL actually wanted to build, and the very car(s) he would have wanted for himself... How do you think he'd take to a Murciélago or a Gallardo if he was still alive?

XXVIII I love your Jarama S - what a great colour. I totally agree with you that the front-egined Lambos are the cars FL always intended to build - the sort of machines he wanted to drive.
When the world went crazy about the Muira & later the Countach, both only intended to be headline-grabbing show cars - he had to build them. "Build it & they will come!" His engineers were all young men in their 20's keen to go racing & to take on Ferrari.
FL didn't become wealthy throwing money away on motorsport - he had the wisdom to stay well away. Motorsport is just a bonfire for cash!
Espada, Jarama, Islero, 350GT & 400GT - all of them massively under appreciated beauties.
If I had the time, money & space to have cars to tinker with - I'd go after these babies. Okay a 911 is a relatively "hard as nails", low maintenance, "get in & drive" machine by comparison - but these cars have a character, rarity & exotic quality which a 911 just can't provide.
It's amazing that the front-engined Lambos haven't really been discovered by the market yet.
I think the 350GT & 400GT will push upward into the stratosphere as Lambo's heritage starts to become more highly prized under Audi's stewardship.
Wintrade & XXVIII - you both have impeccable taste.

400Gt here at 140k Euros
Seens a few 400GT's around - never seen a 350 for sale - could potentially cost more as there are probably (don't know numbers) less of em to go round...

blimey Penguinracer - I think you just used up all my 'be nice to me' credit there!
you're right tho' - cars like these are so good and so damn cool - well, try and drive one for yourself one day or at least cop for a lift in one from somewhere irrelevant to somewhere not the point and just enjoy the buzz (very cool when people work it out and there jaws gape open!)
one of the quite low-rent magazines tested a 1971 Espada a few years ago and the journalist told me the day after that he was so relaxed whilst travelling along the A27 he didn't feel at all compelled to check the speedo...
and was utterly stunned when one of the passengers asked how fast they were going and he glanced down and realised that he'd been cruising, three up and camera bags at over110mph...
FORZA LAMBORGHINI!

Florent Moulan have a beautiful blue 400gt for sale for Eur66k. Its worth taking a look just for the photos. They do have some lovely Lamborghinis for sale. The other place that normally have some in the Autodrome in Cannes. I refuse to say anything nice about him as he once fleeced me for a pair of tyres after my 355 was vandalised (nuff said). Keep an eye on www.classicdriver.co.uk as this is where they normally come up.
