Italien Traffic Offence
Discussion
I have just received an Invoice from my car rental company from when I was visiting Lamborghini in March. They alledge to have had to supply my name and addess to the relevant traffic authority in Italy, after an "alledged" traffic offence happened.
My question is, I do not want them to provide any details, and how should I go about finding out what happended? I cannot recall doing anything that would warrant an "alledged" offence.
Any help would be Appreciated!!
Thanks Guys.

Err... tend to disagree (being Italian myself). As Crikey says, that Italian laws are convoluted, most certainly, but that same complexity and superposition could land you in trouble, even for a minor offence.
My advice will be to keep an eye open, do nothing for now, but be prepared in case you get a sort-of summons. The fact that they went the lenght of asking the rental company for driver details (which is normal, of course, but at the same instant they heard "bloke from the UK" it should have been met with a "OK, forget it" type answer) would make me watchful.
Then, I would try to avoid driving in Italy anytime soon.
Not to worry, as Crikey says, but neither to make as if nothing happened.
