Lambo gets taken away

LP640 in trouble with the clampers

None of us likes to see this…

Snapped by an eagle-eyed PHer in the City of London last night, here’s a gorgeous - and brand new – Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 falling foul of the local clamping operation.

Here’s hoping those exquisite alloys and masterfully crafted panels weren’t damaged in the process…

A guy who worked across the road from me in America Square in London got his Ferrari clamped so many times that he thought the warden was out to get him.

His solution………………………He bought another Ferrari in a different colour.

Oh to have money.

If the wheels get scratched by these thugs how could you possibly prove it or claim compensation?

I've heard of clampers and traffic wardens taking cars/bikes and basically nicking them for themselves. I can't say I wouldn't be tempted either TBH....

I'm sure pleading financial hardship or having to take the children to school wouldn't work in this case!wink

I saw this on Minories on an 07 plate, but looking in need of a good clean smile

Black with bright yellow interior didn't work for me I'm afraid, and wasn't that keen on the alloys either. I stick to my view that a Lambo deserves a nice bright colour (or white)...

There's a few guys in America Square with some choice wheels - most likely from Cantor Fitzgerald I'd have thought - There was a 599 on a german plate in the car park while there was only one or two of them in the country - never liked them from pictures, but in the flesh... whole different ballgame smile

I am not really surprised, but why on earth do they feel the need to lift a car that is parked in a parking bay? The worst that can have happened is that his ticket ran out. Absolute madness.

Because someone else can park in the same layby generating more evenue for the Council!

It might be worth looking into regulations on removal as I did think that your car should only be removed if causing an obstruction.

Incidentially the clampers on Diven last night, did say they were very careful with nice cars, and took photographs of all cars before clamping them to prove if they were damaged before the clamp went on.

wow i'd of thought it would have been to low to get underneath?

what you need is air suspension that lets the whole car sit on the floor when parked smile
