Firstly let me state that I am posting this as a concerned enthusiast. There is a car dealer who has over the years specialised in a number of niche marques and then flown by night to the next including my own interest the honda S2000.I have had lets say a less than good experience myself with said dealer it has come to my attention that he is now dealing increasingly in used maserati's, I am not aware of this site's policy so will only post a link to a site which should give anyone looking to buy a used car from the dealer in question informed opinion to facilitate their decision.

I hope to buy a 3200gta in the near future and know that given the nature of the car they need to be 'genuine' anybody who is involved in bringing non genuine cars into the maketplace should be countered.

I purchased mY S2000 from them last year. I had a mixed experience really. Probably my own fault as I was a bit naive at the time. I asked them if they could change the corroded centre caps and they told me they would, I went to pick up the car and they hadn't changed them. As mine was an 04 it was still under warranty, so got them changed through Honda.

I also noticed 3 tyres were the correct Bridgestones but one was some other make - can't remember now!

All minor things really, but definitely do your homework before visiting. I know they have a very quick turnaround of cars, especially this time of year, so make sure everything is in order before laying down your cash.

Cheers T, will pass on the good advice to be honest I am thinking the best bet is to tell the guy to steer clear. A 2nd hand masser can be a difficult decision without having further doubts cast about the people your buying from and of course unlike yourself there is no manufacturers warranty as back up.

Yes. It is worth saying that a few people on S2k have found the company alright to deal with. I wouldn't consider buying from them myself though.
