Managed to purchase a set on ebay (silver rims) with four brand new tyres for Approx £2500, over the moon!!

Yeah from US, chuffed to bits especially the tyres, may get them sprayed black but unsure as of yet!

lol sorry mate, you can have my original set for half price as a good will gesture! I even managed to haggle the guy, they were up for 4995 dollors plus 750 dollors delivery, I got him to £2500 in pounds including the four tyres and centre caps which i believe do cost a bit!

Yeah I didn't like those wheels but the callisto's are out of this world and they look mean in black!

Hey

Make sure you don't get stung by the tax man like I did when I bought nick cages old wheels for my car from the US. Make sure the person sending the parcel marks the contents as used and at $1k dollars worth of goods!

Doesn't matter , if a value is put on for insurance/customs purposes prepare yourself for at least VAT + handling

Bloody hell ,you were right, wheels would have cost me cheaper buying from the UK! Managed to cancel the transfer on time! 1st negative feedback on ebay!

As Mandeep::Lambofool says , if you can get the guy to mark the value down to iirc sub $30 then there shouldn't be VAT or a processing fee

Thing is ... If the wheels go missing in transit (or are damaged?) the declared insurance value will be null

Hmmm, saj Lambo manc reckons its normal on 04 models, but i dont want to be taking it all the way up to stockport to have it checked cause of the mileage! He said its the anti roll bar, but its damn annoying!
