Can I ask anyone who has changed the stock exhaust on a Gallardo to a tubi or whatever, did you have to replace any gaskets at the time it was changed?

Or is it simply a matter of taking the original one off and putting the new one on without any additional part requirements?

Thanks in advance smile!

I have not changed one on a Gallardo, but I would be inclined to say that you should change them as a matter of course. i would have thought that they are a relatively outlay in realtion to the exhaust.

There is no gaskets, just re-usable cast steel rings which sit between the cats and the boxes. The U clamps then go over them and then tighten up to form a seal. The clamps can get rusted (I've sheared a bolt on a couple of mine)and can be difficult to get off, but otherwise no problem.
