Hi there,

Was hoping to get along to the Goldtrack track day at Silverstone yesterday but decided after seeing the weather forecast to give it a miss.

Judging by the pics I have seen I made the right choice. It was dry in places but did chuck it down now and then.

Looks like there were some nice cars including a Mercedes SLR.

Anyway judging by the event thread in the track day forum it looks like the Enzo that was out on track for some of the day may have been involved in quite a heavy accident. The car and driver are known to some of you in this forum and I am sure you will send you best wishes out to Paul. I am not sure as to the exact condition of the driver or the car.

The Enzo crashed very badly and I think it was written off. The front is completely wasted and the rear is dented!!!

Just thought I would make you aware of the incident.

Best wishes for the driver. That is such a shame and i hate these kinds of posts. Just shows how easily it can happen when you try to enjoy your pride and joy and the worst thing possible happens frown

In Evo , iirc it eluded to the fact he was paying the bill when he crashed the CGT....

Just heard from Paul, and he is absolutely fine - not a scratch.

The car just needs front wings / bonnet etc too - it will be back on the road in no time.

Good to hear it

Thanks for your best wishes and comments. Better than the other sites I have seen.
One guy posted my chassis and engine numbers. To what aim I have no idea.
I guess he was typing with one hand and busy doing something else with the other.
Car will be back as soon as parts arrive as damage is minimal.
Hope to see you all soon on the track with the Enzo along with the other toys.
Thanks again

Glad to hear its nothing major.

There seem to be a few weirdos who collect / post chassis numbers of Enzos for some reason.

Nice collection of cars you have there.
