How often do you Guys & Gals use your Supercars? - and for what purposes do you use them?

It has just dawned on me that I am too busy with other commitments during weekends to use my Murci until Aug Bank Holiday!

So, unless I use it for mid-week work duties just for the hell of it - its going to gather dust for a bit.

Seems like a right waste!

Bugger!

Sacrilege... an engine needs to be used, if you need it to be used regularly
I'm sure there would be plenty of volunteers, [cough] start with me !!

This is really bad news for the engines in these cars as over time all the engine components will dry out, then when it's started the engine will run with no oil in for a while, very bad move not using a car every now and again.

4,000 miles last year but that included a trip to Nice. This year only managed 1400, of which 700miles went to a mate to help get over a weeping divorce woohoo

Since having my car I have now done 3k miles.

I intend to get some very decent use out of it in the summer months and sparadic use in the winter.

I just don't get any enjoyment from keeping it in the garage. To be honest I could do alot more mileage as I'm a 100k miles per year person....

the specialist that services my lambo disagrees and says the car is fine either way, though i hear what you say.
problem for me is time, kids, other cars and bikes, some of them being even more fun than a lamboeek

A painting is supposed to be looked at, a car is supposed to be driven.

I've done around 5k in 7 months in my Murci, 3 trips to London via midlands in last 6 months but I did drive it home from London when I got it, just can't stay out of it, it's such an awesome car!

When I'm not at a clients I drive it to work weather permitting, and try to use it as much as I possibly can.

Why own it and not use it, it'll still depreciate no matter what!!

As much as possible at the weekends, and for the odd continental trip. The G. has been over to France twice and the 'Ring once, and the CGT twice to the 'Ring. About 20,000 miles between the two cars over the last 2 years. Wish I had time for even more - every drive is a joy smile.
