Hi Everyone,
This is nothing to do with lambo, ferrari or mazza but i have just had to have my boxer dog put to sleep and my son and i fell upset.
He was 14 years and 3months old and he had been though stomch torrable, eye infection, kidney problem and had 2 cancer lumps removed so he had been though the lot.
Just wanted to give him a nice sending off
god bless jack
Thanks for always being there for us

I had the pleasure of knowing Jack, and that was one strong minded dog! I know he had been ill for many years but it never seemed to bother him. He was a very proud and dignified looking Boxer. He was truly a brother to Leslie and a son to Lorraine.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Take care Jack

14 years is a good age for a boxer. My sister had seven boxers at one point a good few years back. (thats all at once.) She has just the one left called Pippa and she's eleven. I know what you guys are going through and I am feel for your loss. Three years ago we had three dogs and twelve cats. The three dogs have all passed away and there are four cats left. We have a new addition called wubbey who's 18 month old. Honey our big shepherd died easter.
love and condolences Graeme

Dear Lorraine and Leslie,
this may not be much of a comfort to you now, it certainly hasn't been for my Dad who decided that his cat, being an OSH cat called Polly (who was very nearly 18 years old!) had to be put down a few days ago as she was, literally, on her last legs.
It wasn't much solace for my ol' school mate who lives in Barcelona when, earlier this year, she had to do the same thing for her ageing Alsatian - Bixto - (it means something in Catalan, I think...).
Or for my sister, who had to have one of her dogs put down just a few days after our Mum died in late August '05.
It's just this: When any of us 'acquire' a pet, be it a cat, a dog, a rabbit, a budgie, any creature - we effectively make a contract with them. This contract is really quite one-sided.
They keep us amused and make us smile, keep us company and warm our hearts - just by being themselves - that's their side of the deal and usually they make a good job of it!
We agree to feed them, usually anything they want and at any time they want.
We agree to exercise them even when we might be less than cheerful about the weather or even our own lives.
We agree to keep them as healthy as we can, even if we are perhaps feeling ill ourselves.
Finally, we agree that when they are in pain, when their suffering cannot be made better, we'll let them go and thank them for keeping their side of the deal - even when we know that it will break our hearts for us to do so.
You did the right thing for Jack, he was very lucky to have been your dog! He kept his side of the deal and you kept yours. Well done, you should be proud to have done the best you could possibly do for him, especially now.
keep those chins up you guys, see you very soon I hope.
