Club Scuderia down

[Graham_S]

Just so you know...

Downtime seems to be a side effect of the weather conditions. Phoned the support centre this morning and was told(by recorded message) that the data centre isn't actually flooded but that most staff are absent due to conditions on the surrounding roads

They advise that most servers are running which implies that some are not. They're not able to offer a full support service at the moment due to having very few staff to answer phones and deal with technical matters.

Was told not to bother holding due to extremely long wait times and the fact that there would probably be nobody there to deal with it anyway!

I guess we just have to wait until the waters subside...

Any news?

[renmure]

Didn't realise how often I popped in there for a lurk till it went down

[MalcQV]

Any sign of a return?

[kenyon]

Still down !!

[tomtom]

IIRC the company it's hosted with have their datacentre right next to a dock...

[Graham_S]

According to hosting company's website all services are fully operation now. i guess they forgot to actually CHECK all services before they issued that statement.

There's also some blurb about having a phone support service as from tomorrow. All I can do at the moment is send an email, which I've done, asking them to look into it

I'll phone them tomorrow but I expect they'll be deluged(bad choice of word!) with queries

Thank's for the update graham

Dale.
