How many Murcielagos/Gallardos Made?
Discussion
Quick simple question. Cant find accurate info on the web.
In terms of Murci, my guess from what Ive read is that the factory made about 1600 between '02 - '05 (...or did it run into '06?) , with about 300-400 coming into UK ?? Is that about right?
How does that compare to the Gallardo numbers?
Cheers

I thought there was only about 80-90 Murcis' but I think this data came from Crikeymikey, but I could be wrong is has been known!
Mikey will know as he quoted me recently on the figures.
14 Roadster Murci's I belive Ade, so that makes around 115 Coupes according to Jon. Does that sound about right?
I mist sort out my LCUK membership surely they would have a register for something like that?

er, actually, we don't!! We DO know how many of each kind of Lamborghini there is in the Club but we aren't privvy to that kind of immediate / very recent data before anyone / everyone knows about it from any source!!We can confirm that on average since 1963, (when Automobili Lamborghini was first established), approximately 10% of every kind of Lamborghini has made its way into the UK...
Whilst Murciélagos and Gallardos are still being produced, it will be interesting to see if that %age has been maintained when either of them gets replaced by another car...
Certainly, our Membership reflects the success of the Gallardo in terms of numbers produced (and much else, judging by their owners!) and we also note that a phenomenon occasionally occurs where, as one Lamborghini leaves the country for elsewhere, one very much like it arrives or comes back - ie a very near-perfect Countach LP400 went back to Amerikky recently but another Countach LP400 arrived from South Africa within a few days...
So, when are you joining us???
edited 'cos I can't spell phenomenon
