Congratulations on the new additon!
Quick question, my wife and I are thinking about kids and the inevitable question about pushchairs has come along. I understand the MaxiCosi fits most cars? What about the X5 of the pushchair world, the Bugaboo? Does this all fit your motor?
Not a hope in hell of getting a pushcahir in a Gallardo. Forget it mate!Quick question, my wife and I are thinking about kids and the inevitable question about pushchairs has come along. All IMHO of course.
On the more open question of kids, yes do it, and earlier than you think.
With my PHD in hindsight, I reckon Late 20s / 30 is ideal.
Elliot, congratulations, enjoy it as I'm sure you will.

We have the maxi cosy seat and the Quinny Zapp buggy. Great combo and haven't actually found a car that it doesn't fit in including the front of my wives C4S.
Congratulations on the addition, he's a good looking chap!
Can I just ask... I'm in no way having a go or criticising anyone or any of the rest of that disclaimer rubbish but weren't you really apprehensive about taking your new borns out in a 2-seater?
I have no idea what it's like to have a child (thankfully) but I would imagine that I would bring said kid home from the hospital/drive around for the first year of it's like, in the back seat of a Hummer or something of the like driving at an average speed of 2 mph... Ultimate safety, in case some nutterfelt it was his purpose in life to smash into my vehicle...
Just a thought...

Thanks for all the kind words, loving the whole dad thing and glad we have done it now (28). I still feel like i have some life left in me when i get in from work
Sadly the Gallardo has now gone, although i do have a letter of intent down for whatever is launched at geneva
Yes you can turn the airbag of in the G, and no the bugaboo doesnt fit, LOL.
I was not in the slightest bit nervous about taking him out, loved parking in the mother and baby section at Sainsburys and getting filthy looks until you lift him out the passenger side. Brilliant!
